Beef Stew!

I was checking out the new Mydin Hypermarket in Jalan Padang Hiliran with my bro. It was an awesome place, dubbed 'Pasaraya Hypermarket Terbesar di Pantai Timur" (Biggest Hypermarket in the East Coast). Bought 400g of local beef to try out my first ever beef stew.

To produce this, you would have to first marinade the beef with soy sauce, Worchester sauce (Lea and Perrins), Chinese 5 spices powder, Cinnamon powder, crushed peppercorns, grounded black pepper, rosemary, cloves, instant brown sauce, sugar and salt. Then stirfry some large onions, garlic and cinnamon, and some celery, carrots and diced potatoes and finally the beef. Add in some beef / chicken stock and boil it till the gravy thickens and meat is tender. Add some starch to make the stew stickier. Serve hot.
