Pramoedya Ananta Toer


Chinese are not voyagers from abroad landed on our shores. They have been here since our ancestors. They are actually peoples of Indonesia, who live and die in Indonesia also, but because of a certain political veiling, suddenly become strangers who are not foreign.

read his child of the nations vol 2. an amazing story-teller. one wonders how he could thought up all the characters in his story and remember all these while in prison?
